WHEN: Every Tuesday at 7.30pm
WHERE : Coleg Cambria - Northop College
This past year at Northop YFC has been a great one! With an invasion of new and keen members we have had a very exciting and fun filled programme. Meeting once a week our club members have dined out on pizza, visited the bowling alley and sampled the gorgeous yogurts of Llaeth Y Llan village dairy. As well as this, Northop have participated in seasonal activities such as pancake making, attending the local pantomime and mince pie making. We also had a very informative talk from the British heart foundation and we have even had training in how to use the defibrillator. We have always been willing to participate in interclub events and this year was no exception. Northop also attended the Maelor raft race and enjoyed walking up Moel Famau with neighbouring club Cilcain.
Last year’s county rally was a great success and all of the members had a fantastic day and night. Northop are always keen to compete in competitions and this year was no exception with Jack Fowles doing well in stock judging and Adam, Mark, Jack and Megan coming second in their first public speaking event.
Young farmers give you the opportunity to go far … all round the world! In fact some of our members attended a superb weekend in Paris were we visited two of the biggest agriculture shows in the world. Our club has continued to grow and grow and this would not be possible without the wonderful Joanne and
Steve Strange who have supported the club non-stop. A big thank you also goes to Becky Hulme, Rachel and Tony Evans, Roger and Helen Bletcher and
Chris Taylor for letting us use their facilities.
Northop YFC can help develop your skills for life, provide you with challenges and give you the opportunity to meet other young people. All of our members in Northop are friendly, enthusiastic and definitely love to have a laugh. If you fancy livening up your Tuesday evenings, then why not give us a call!!
NORTHOP is the club for you to join and have fun.
