Meeting Place: On a Tuesday evening at Caerwys Chapel, 7.30pm.
Whitford Young Farmers is a friendly and welcoming group of members aged between 13 and 30 from farming and non-farming backgrounds.
Once again we have had a busy and successful year ,Competing, socialising and attending activities as a group. All our members enjoyed spending time at the Royal Welsh Show last year watching club members compete in stock judging, and enjoyed the social side of the show. Well done Huw our chairman for competing and representing the county at top level!!
Denbigh and Flint Show followed and so did our annual fundraiser, the litter pick! Fun was had by all!! The presidents ball gave some of our older members chance to dress up for the evening and put their dancing shoes on. Some members competed in the county eisteddfod in Denbigh and were successful on the night! Field day competitions took a lot of our time in the winter months but the hard work paid off and gained some good results.
We have had some interesting visits over the last 12 months including: a visit to Emyr Evans , birds of prey, Go-Karting, police helicopter and Vet surgery. As a club our members also enjoyed socialising at Pizza hut and the cinema.
Thank you to all our members and parents for all their support over the last 12 months.
